Synopsis: Lola (Lindsay Lohan), an egocentric teenager, feels that her life is simply not worth living when she moves away from New York City with her family. Losing every thing she loves and treasures, she is plunked down in New Jersey - what she believes to be a "cultural wasteland." How will this New York doll ever make it as a Jersey girl? Thrust into a suburban high school and determined to upset the established order, Lola sets out on a mission. Convinced that only she deserves to be the most popular girl in the school, Lola competes with another girl who is equally snobby, and who also believes that the school should revolve around her.
My Review: OK, I started watching this movie as a lame excuse not to study! And also Lindsay was one of the reasons I thought I should go watch this. And believe me, this movie being a major chick flick didn't disappoint me. This made me come to a conclusion that chick flicks ain't that bad. I mean if nothing, you get to watch all those babes in their daily tantrums & stuff. Its actually kinda good. Anyway this movie is all about how a teenage girl always desires to be with her one & only celebrity stereotype! That she'll do everything it takes to catch one glimpse of him.. yada yada... Go watch it!

Hmm... well.. I saw bits and parts of this movie on star movies a few days back for a similar reason as yours... but 3/5 is obscenely overrating this one, I think. If this was 3/5 I guess your scale is not enough to measure a movie like crash.
Frankly, i think you need to be a bit more judicious with your rating points!
