Reasons to watch this flick: I remember reading this storyline sometime when I was a small kid and it really interested me. Glad to find out a movie based on the same novel. However, the special effects could have been better.

My Review: In the near future a deadly virus kills 99% of mankind. In desperate attempts to preserve humanity Prof. Goodchild (Marton Csokas) discovers a cure to the virus and succeeds in saving the remaining humans. But the drawback of this vaccine is that it renders people infertile, incapable of bearing children. So the Prof. has no option but to collect & maintain the DNAs of those hundreds & thousands and using them to clone these people again & again in hopes of preserving the human race. This is continued for 400 years until when a rebellion group called the Monikers have planned to assassinate the Prof. because they think that he iss behind the numerous disappearances & murders. Aeon Flux is one of these Monikers & her mission is to kill the Prof. She's almost about to do that when she discovers that truth that the Prof. is indeed trying to help humans survive. And in time some of them have succeeded in becoming immune to the infertility problem because of which they have been killed by the others involved with the Prof. in his experiment. So rises a rebel and finally the climax where everyone discovers the real world! Amazing storyline... though the action was a little less exxagerated!

My Review: The major reason I didn't give this movie a major rating might have been because I had too much expectation out of this one? The storyline was interesting but the direction wasn't meant for a horror movie... I mean the special effects were amazing but the chill-down-the-spine feeling you get out of horror movies was completely absent! The only good part were the babes featured in the movie... Maggie Grace & Selma Blair (wish all radio jockeys could be like her)!

My Review: Any Jim Carrey movie... I'm surely in for it! His acting is just too good. No one in Hollywood does a better comic role than him. Same is the case with this movie. You're just gonna laugh all along the movie... just laugh, laugh & laugh! And like all movies, its a happy ending!

My Review: I would have really liked the movie if I was a kid. But since, that's not the case I still say the movie was quite entertaining all due to the spectacular visual effects & extraordinary characters. This movie is more in line of the Harry Potter series. But you wouldn't regret it if you missed it. I'm still wondering how did it ever beat King Kong to the top spot? Maybe kids amount to more of the movie-going audience? :P

Convinced that she is a ghost, David tries to help Elizabeth cross over to the "other side." But while Elizabeth has discovered she does have a distinctly ethereal quality - she can walk through walls - she is equally convinced that she is somehow still alive and isn't crossing over anywhere. As Elizabeth and David search for the truth about who Elizabeth is and how she came to be in her present state, their relationship deepens into love. Unfortunately, they have very little time before their prospects for a future together permanently fade away.

My Review: Well, to be frank this movie was seen only for the sake of the beautiful & cute Reese Witherspoon. But was I in for a surprise as this mushy movie totally captivated my mind emotionally. Just Like Heaven shows what destiny is all about; that you've come into this world for a reason; that reason is to find your true soulmate; and how circumstances lead you into the right path of your fate. Mark Buffalo has acted really well; the poor sympathetic kind of guy who's lost a lot in life & is now tryin to adjust into reality. On the other hand, Reese is this worhaholic girl next door who's only thing in life is her job. The way these two meet & fall in love is just so touching. A perfect movie to enjoy with your significant other!

Synopsis: Olduvai Research Station is a remote scientific facility on Mars where something has gone terribly wrong. All experiments have ceased, and communication has failed. Unfortunately, these things never go as planned.

My Review: Saw it first day first show and the goregasm & action rocked! Things move on very slowly during the first half of the movie, but the main juicy part begins after the interval... For all those who have played the game Doom, will be taken aback by the first person perspective action... it is just too good... highlights the whole movie... the way Reaper moves with his gun shooting anything & everything that comes in his way... and the best part of this is when he wrestles a bullish monster with a chainsaw! And yeah, Rock, he's a perfect action hero after Arnold for sure. But he's not the one who comes out alive! Coming to the actress, Rosamund Pike is like so indifferent and calm thoughout the movie... makes you wonder what's going on inside her head... but she's damn hot! All those who are fanatics of Rock or the game, I'd suggest its a must-see!

My Review: Peter Jackson recreates the mega epic King Kong and lemme tell you it was really worth the 6 month long anticipation & the three hour long duration of the movie! Everyone must be familiar with the mammoth ape since its been featured in dozens of movies and mentioned in thousands. The direction and visual effects are absolutely stunning with a bunch of Spielberg's dinosaurs also featured in the movie. The action is endless and will keep you on the edge of your seats all time long. Includes some emotion provoking scenes in which the story will actually make you feel pity fur the mighty beast. Naomi Watts is the damsel who King Kong falls for. King Kong is indeed a legend and Peter Jackson did no less for making this film a legend!

Emily's story is told in flashbacks amid a courtroom drama, wherein Father Richard Moore (Tom Wilkinson), the man who performed the exorcism, is accused of negligence resulting in Emily's death. The trial shows his tough-as-nails lawyer, Erin Bruner (Laura Linney), doing her damnedest to clear him of any and all charges.

My Review: The movie's kinda slow and quite emotional, as things open up slowly and steadily gripping the audience with chills and fear... not that scary anyway. But the storyline is awesome and Carpenter (the possessed girl) has acted really well indeed. Now in the trial, the case is looked upon in either ways - a scientific approach to Emily's condition as well as a religious one!
And what more, the title says that its based on a true story. Amazing chillin' movie... check it out!

My Review: OK, I had no major interest in this movie as such; the main reason being the hottie Catherine Zeta Jones. But the movie turned out to be quite good. Both Antonio & Catherine look old now, but they still make a great pair on screen. The chemistry between them is magical.

The action scenes although superficial - but are well done and make for an enjoyable ride. Mexican fanatics are sure gonna love this flick. Great to watch with your significant other!
