What's the story? A family is on the run from an inexplicable and unstoppable event that threatens not only humankind - but the most basic human instinct of them all: survival.
Reasons to avoid this flick: The storyline has no base at all; Very frustrating at the end when you are presented with no conclusion.

What's the story? Set in 1973, 'Almost Famous' chronicles the funny and often poignant coming of age of 15-year-old music fanatic, William. Having managed to land an assignment from Rolling Stone magazine to interview the up-and-coming band Stillwater - fronted by lead guitarist Russell Hammond - and with the help of gorgeous "band aid" Penny Lane, William finds himself drawn into the band's inner circle, despite the objections of his over protective mother. As he becomes less an observer and more a participant in the band's dynamics, William learns a life-changing lesson about the importance of family - the ones we inherit and the ones we create.

Reasons to watch this flick: Check out Kade Huson in one of her most vividest performances on the big screen; This musical is about the rock 'n' roll culture (may not appeal to those with a more mature taste in music), but is definitely a must watch.

What's the story? The true story of the very brightest young minds in the country - and how they took Vegas for millions. Ben Campbell is a shy, brilliant M.I.T. student who - needing to pay school tuition - finds the answers in the cards. He is recruited to join a group of the school's most gifted students that heads to Vegas every weekend armed with fake identities and the know-how to turn the odds at blackjack in their favor. With unorthodox math professor and stats genius Micky Rosa leading the way, they've cracked the code. By counting cards and employing an intricate system of signals, the team can beat the casinos big time. Seduced by the money, the Vegas lifestyle, and by his smart and sexy teammate, Jill Taylor, Ben begins to push the limits. Though counting cards isn't illegal, the stakes are high, and the challenge becomes not only keeping the numbers straight, but staying one step ahead of the casinos' menacing enforcer: Cole Williams.
Reasons to watch this flick: It's really interesting to see how a group of university students can bring down an entire chain of casinos at Las Vegas.
