What's the story? From the beloved best-selling series of books comes "The Spiderwick Chronicles," a fantasy adventure for the child in all of us. Peculiar things start to happen the moment the Grace family (Jared, his twin brother Simon, sister Mallory and their mom) leave New York and move into the secluded old house owned by their great, great uncle Arthur Spiderwick. Unable to explain the strange disappearances and accidents that seem to be happening on a daily basis, the family blames Jared. When he, Simon and Mallory investigate what's really going on, they uncover the fantastic truth of the Spiderwick estate and of the creatures that inhabit it.
Reasons to watch this flick: One more kiddie flick which actually turned out to be fun. Though nothing special to mention about the movie, the special effects wera a thing to watch for.

What's the story?: Angus, a young Scottish boy, finds an enchanted egg. Taking it home, he soon finds himself face-to-face with an amazing creature: the mythical "water horse" of Scottish lore. Angus begins a journey of discovery, facing his greatest fears and risking his life to protect a secret that would give birth to a legend.
My Review: The posters say 'The most wonderous film of its kind since the ET'. I quite agree to that since the film serves audiences of all age groups. The special effects are brilliant and are what I would term as 'perfect'. Movies like these generally make for a good watch but one thing that's really frustrating is the amount of kids in the cinema hall. And trust me, their laughter and screams will literally screw your brains. However, the experience was pretty smooth as compared to Harry Potter, where a kid seated behind us was constantly blabbering "Harry Potterla kay jhaale?". Damn!
